VPS Server can be managed direct from here or from Enduser Panel

 

 

 

Overview

This page displays all the VPS(s) of the user. user can perform various task on the VPS(s) from this page.

 

 

Following are the tasks user can perform on the single VPS or multiple VPS(s) :

  • Start / Stop
  • Restart
  • Power off
  • Delete
  • Suspend / Unsuspend
  • Edit

Search VPS(S)

User can filter the VPS(s) from the search option.

 

Following are the options to filter the VPS(s)

  • ID - VPS ID.
  • IP Address - IP address assigned to the VPS.
  • Hostname - hostname of the VPS.
  • Status - suspended / unsuspended.
  • Type - Virtualization type of VPS.
  • User - User of the VPS.
  • Server Group - VPS belongs to the server group.

Note : To search the VPS with the LIKE option put "*" before or after the search string. this feature is supported in

 IP addressHostname and User fields.

 

Manage VPS

To manage vps Click on List All .Then Click on Arrow show next to the VPS ID .

You can select options from VPS Management Page .

 

Change Account Password

To change your password, go to virtualizor and then click on your user name and then select My Profile.

Navigate to "Account Password" tab and then enter the new password and then click on "Change Password".

Once you clicked, your password will be changed successfully.

 

Change Hostname

To Change Hostname, go to VPS Management Page, click on "Hostname", enter New Host Name
and then click on "Change Hostname".

Note : You will need to stop and then start the vps from panel.

 Your new Hostname will be changed successfully.

 

VNC

Virtualizor provides VNC Viewer using which you can access your VPS. It is very easy to use this feature on virtualizor.

All you have to do is switch on the VPS, click on the VNC icon in the vps management page and click the

"Launch HTML 5 VNC Client" button.

Note : VNC viewer will not work if java is not installed .

 

Re-Install OS

Note : Please make sure you already have backup of the VPS .
Re-install OS will create fresh VPS without any data .

To Re-Install OS, go to VPS Management panel and click on "OS Re-Install" icon .
First select the Distro of the operating system you want to install and choose your desired version of it.

Then enter the password which will be set for the Root User to log-in and then press "Reinstall".
Then wait for a while till the OS gets installed.

'Format Primary Disk Only' option will only remove data from 1st disk assigned to the vps.
Secondary disks attached to the vps will remain un-touched.

 

Two Factor Authentication (End User Panel)

Overview

This guide shows you how to enable two factor Authentication in Virtualizor End User panel.

Click on your user name and from the given list select "Settings".

NOTE : You will get this option ONLY if your admin has enabled this setting from Admin panel.

Two Factor Authentication Methods

Click on Security Settings, you will see the page of Two Factor Authentication as below.

Using Email

  • Select Email OTP from the drop down to enable two factor authentication via email.
  • To enable OTP method via email you will have to click on Email Code button and enter the OTP sent to your email to verify it.
  • Once the OTP is verified, Email OTP will be enabled when you login to enduser panel next time.

Using App

  • Select Enable App from the dropdown to enable two factor authentication using App.
  • To enable OTP method using App you will have to scan the QR Code OR enter the Secret Key in your App.
  • Once you have configured it, OTP will be generated in your App.
    Enter that OTP in Confirmation Code field to verify and enable Two factor Authentication.

Disable Two Factor Authentication

  • To disable two factor authentication, select None from the drop down and save the settings.
  • This will disable the two factor authentication for login.

NOTE : If Admin has forced two factor authentication for endusers, then you will get OTP via Email even after disabling Two factor authentication from your end.

 

 

Enduser ISO

Overview

This guide shows you how to use Enduser ISO in Virtualizor End User panel.

NOTE : You will get this option ONLY if your admin has enabled this setting from Admin panel.

Add ISO

To add ISO, You need to provide valid ISO URL and name. After adding, the ISO will be added and will be visible on the page

Set Enduser ISO for a VPS

Enduser can set an ISO using the configuration menu.
Following are the steps to set an ISO for a VPS :

  • Select vps configuration option on manage VPS page.
  • Select primary ISO and secondary ISO (if any) and select the boot order: 1) CD Drive 2) Hard Disk.
  • Stop and start the VPS.

Remove an ISO

Enduser can remove an ISO from ISO management page.
Follow the steps to do so :

  • Select the ISO(s) you want to delete.
  • Confirm the deletion.

User Settings

In order to access the User Settings, click on your name and select Settings.

For Enduser

First click on "Settings" and then choose the language, theme and select the timezone and then click on "Edit Settings".

Change Root Password

To Change Root Password of your VPS, go to VPS Management Page, click on "Change Password", enter New Password and then click on "Change Password". Your Root Password will be changed successfully.

Note: For Open VZ your changed Root password will be immediately changed and for Xen & KVM VPS your Root Password will be changed after VPS is Rebooted .

 

Client API Keys

This page shows how to generate the API keys in EndUser panel.

1] Click on API credentials to access the page for API Key generation.

 

 

2] Click to generate the API Key Pairs.

Now you can see the API Key pairs are generated. You can generate more than one API key pairs as per your requirements.
 
 

Enduser Backup

To perform backup click on backup icon from VPS Management Page .
And then you will see this wizard.
It will list existing backups if any and also an option to take backup now.

 

Install CWP From Virtualizor, 

Procedure is same for CPanel, Plesk etc...

Overview

Virtualizor allows endusers to install Control Panel directly on the VPS. However, shutting down the VPS will be required in case of Xen and KVM VPS.

NOTE : The Control Panel option should be enabled from Admin panel -> Configuration setting (which is the default). This option will not be visible if it is disabled.

Procedure

Login to Virtualizor Enduser panel -> Select the VM on which you want to install the control panel -> Click on the Install tab -> Click on the Control Panel button. You will get a screen as shown below where you can see the CWP icon for selection. After selection is done it will ask for a confirmation, an alert will be shown, click on Yes to begin installation.

NOTE : For Xen and KVM VPS, you will need to Shutdown and then Start the VPS (not restart). This is required so that Virtualizor can alter files which is not possible during a restart and is only possible during the startup of the VPS after it has been shutdown. For OpenVZ VPS, the installation begins instantly.

 

Dark/Light Mode

 

You can turn ON / Off Dark mode in enduser panel. Click on the bulb as shown in the following image to switch to dark mode
